First off, the site now has SSL. Simply visit https://www.newchan.com to use the site completely encrypted. If you have problems accessing the site using SSL, please email admin@newchan.com
Second, we have gotten rid of the topsite lists at the bottom of the pages. We are working toward providing an extremely fast service and some of these links were causing each page load to take 10 seconds or more. Some were also miscalculating our traffic by about 30%. Some of the sites were filled with the worst kind of ads (popups, redirects, popunders and viruses), some were down more than up and the rest seem to allow links to CP, which is illegal for us to link to, so they are gone.
Third, we will be working on some new ideas to improve the site for our visitors, we have many repeat visitors that come back daily and would like to provide something other than "just another imageboard". Be on the lookout for some new software.
